One Life - A Vatican's suggested film for the Jubilee Year of Hope
We welcome our new Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV who will be our shepherd through these uncertain times when our world is fraught with so many problems. In spite of our troubled times, we must remember that we are an Easter people with hope in our hearts because Jesus Christ has resurrected from the dead.
Based on a true story, Nicholas Winton, a British humanitarian, held true to his conscience and refused to turn a blind eye to the evil that was happening in the world. He acted courageously to inspire others to join him in rescuing Jewish children from the Nazi occupation - he dared to be that glimmer of light in a time of sheer darkness.
One Life is a Vatican-suggested film for the Jubilee Year of Hope. We warmly welcome you and your family and friends to join us for fellowship as we watch this movie together. We hope that this movie inspires you to respond to your call of vocation in wherever life finds you. Each of us has work to be done in His vineyard.
