    A Role with Purpose

    We are looking for a committed individual with a heart for service.

    As a Sales Assistant at the Katong Catholic Shop, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming and faith-filled experience for visitors. You will serve as the face of the shop, supporting parishioners and customers in their daily faith journey by providing helpful guidance, sharing knowledge of Catholic products, and inspiring their devotion through thoughtful service.

    Key Responsibilities
    Working closely with the team, you will support day-to-day operations, including:

    • Greet and serve customers with warmth and excellence

    • Listen to customer needs and help them find products in the store

    • Use the EPOS system accurately and efficiently

    • Take and process special orders for books and gifts

    • Pack and replenish stocks, maintain an organized and clean store

    • Open and close the store

    • Maintain and merchandise products on the sales floor

    • Respond to WhatsApp customer enquiries

    • Contact consignors to restock items

    • Stock-in items on EPOS

    • Participate in annual stock-take

    • Coordinate subscriptions for publications

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Ability to work weekends

    • Warm, welcoming, and service-oriented attitude

    • Willingness to go above and beyond to serve customers

    • Integrity in handling payments and financial transactions

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • A Catholic witness upholding a high standard of personal conduct, lifestyle, and attitude

    • Familiarity with liturgical items and Catholic Church practices

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    • Basic knowledge of website management is preferred
