Catholic Education Sunday 2025

The Archdiocese will celebrate Catholic Education Sunday on the weekend of 23–24 Aug. This weekend is chosen as it is closest to the feast day of St. Joseph Calasanz, the patron of Catholic schools.

This is a special time to come together to celebrate the gift of Catholic education and pray for all our schools. Students and teachers from our Catholic schools will join the congregation in prayer and worship, with a special prayer card distributed to everyone.

At our Saturday 5:30 PM Mass, students from CHIJ Katong Convent and CHIJ (Katong) Primary will serve as lectors, cantors, hospitality members, and in the choir. Let's welcome them and pray for them.
